We celebrate our first few issues with a #TBT Throwback Thursday edition of Triangle Downtowner. The cover is from the 2006 Carolina Hurricanes Special Edition of the Raleigh Downtowner. Included in our #TBT issue are news briefs and articles from 2005 and 2006, welcome letters from our then publisher and editor, Sig Hutchinson and Randall Gregg, respectively, along with plenty of photos from our first few Around Town pages. From current times, Cave 1912 is our featured Triangle Dining restaurant profile and Christy regales her visit to Raleigh Beer Garden for our Casual Dining article. We thoroughly enjoyed our interview with Dr. Tashni-Ann Dubroy, the new president of Shaw University. Linda visits the amazing Leonardo da Vinci Codex Leicester exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of Art, and we take a visit to the pop-up Flight in downtown Raleigh.
