Issue 120: Buy Fresh & Local
Mar 16, 2016 11:17AM ● By Grace Drescher
Our lead article for this month is "Buy fresh and local" when you buy NC products! Look for the Got to Be NC or Goodness Grows logos to make sure you're buying locally grown NC produce. Also in this issue, Brian visits with Arthur and Anya Gordon at Irregardless Cafe, a foodie institution in downtown Raleigh for almost 40 years. Christy writes a love letter to La Farm Bakery and discovers so many more favorites to add to her bakery addictions of the White Chocolate Baguette and Croque Madam. We interview Danny Rosin, founder of Band Together, which uses live music to raise big bucks for local charities and have fun at the same time. Russ gets Stuft researching this month's "We Love Food Trucks" article and Linda takes a sneak peek at the Best of NC artist show at Gallery C. Be sure to mark May 20-22 on your calendar for the upcoming Artsplosure in downtown Raleigh! We hope you enjoy reading this month's Downtowner as much as we enjoyed writing it. Cheers!
