Opening Reception: Look to the West – Join CAM Raleigh on Thursday, May 1 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM for the opening reception of Look to the West, a powerful exhibition featuring eight artists from Western North Carolina whose lives and landscapes were profoundly impacted by Hurricane Helene. Through painting, ceramics, textiles, glass art, collage, and digital media, their collective work tells a moving story of resilience, place, and the healing power of creativity. Enjoy live bluegrass by The Fiddler + the Flutist and the opportunity to meet the artists and purchase original works, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the artists. This free event is a celebration of creative endurance and a tribute to the stories the storm could not silence. The exhibition will be on view at CAM from May 1 through August 10.
